rich, I don’t think women are more selfish today. I think it is just a necessity of time where each one of us has to look for ourselves. Who else is going to take care for us otherwise? We live in the modern world where old style values - social, family, are out and new ways of living are in. The new values are not necessarily harmonious with the family life, as a result their is divorce. Women also need help and women also like families. Not all women are against marriage and family life.

unfortunately many women today are trained by the social culture around us to be selfish in the relationship. Women are told that they should expect their man to appreciate them, bring them flowers etc. whereas women are not supposed to do anything for the man in their relationship. Now a days, women don’t even cook at home. When man comes home after days work, he is supposed to bring flowers for his wife but wife is not supposed to do anything for the husband. The man has to cook his own dinner in microwave. When women have such “taker” attitude, how can the marriage survive?

More people need to see this. This is the first I’ve seen of your site, but I’ll be linking back frequently based on this post. I think our times have confused men’s role in marriage and relationships in general. It’s good to see that someone is out there speaking the truth.
