How definitely true. Just because we talk about things online doesn’t mean that we’ve mastered them ourselves– uit just means that we’ve thought through it and know the answers.

Often we know to do right, but we do it not– as Paul says. The task is to get better at self discipline so that our actions and our knowledge match up.

I really understand your wife. Wives need to feel that are chosen above all others. I have struggled with not feeling chosen over the years. I was second to the hub’s mom when we first got married due to some co-dependant things between them, I have been second to our children, I have been second to the job, his wallet, and to his “to do” list. It wears on you to feel that you will never come in first place. Cory, make her feel number one in your life above all other people and things. The only one who should come before her is God. I don’t think you have a problem there but for the rest to take the front seat, really leaves seeping wounds over the years. Treasure her not only with your thoughts, but with your words, deeds, and time. Wishing you well.

I don’t like to talk, I like to ‘hint’ at things. This is a good reminder that my wife can’t read my mind and also sometimes she might want to talk with out telling me that she wants to talk.
