Great comments-- it's important that we guys actually become aware enough of what our wives do and their surroundings so that they realize we love them.

BTW, liss' avatar is messing with my mind.

My hub brings me coffee to bed every morning to help me wake up. I love it that he does that for me. He Is a very kind guy. He has also done a couple of medical procedures on me that I won't mention but definitely gets the hero award for that!

So true. We women love that. We don't need expensive flowers, jewellery, (or even long foreplay for that matter), we just want a man who gets us, and picks us up when we're down. Just like we do for him. I'm pretty lucky with my husband (most of the time) and it sounds like your wife is too!

My wife and I have been married 32 years, and it is as important now to do little acts of service as it was when we were newlyweds. I think of the scene in the Joseph Smith movie where he is beating the rug on the clothesline, and a newlywed commented to it Joseph that it might be undignified. Joseph counseled him to share the workload with his wife.

I had a guys day out a week or so ago to help my wife out. My boys had been home sick for 4 days straight and my wife was going bonkers. So I decided to take the boys out shopping and out of my wife's hair. I told her she was free to do whatever she wanted to do. (I left her the keys to my car so she could go out where ever she wanted to.) She took the opportunity to do laundry without worrying about little ones getting in trouble. Not what I would have chosen, but whatever makes her happy.
