My husband is the most understanding and wonderful man!
We currently live with his parents, who are good people, though sometimes messy. Since I am a housewife and everyone else in the house works outside of the home, all household duties have rested on my shoulders, which have caused at times great stress and often pain.
In February I left my husband and family for a few weeks to attend to a sick family member. When I returned, I was greeted at the airport with flowers and taken home to a near spotless house. “I never understood the things you went through every day, and I’m sorry for that.” He said to me.
I later asked my Mother in law what happened while I was gone. “He wanted everything to look perfect for you. He was working at his job, coming home and cleaning every single day.” My husband went out of his way to understand the things I go through. While I never used to require him to clean anything in the house, as it was my job, he has surprised me now by pitching in without being asked, and that makes him the most wonderful and understanding man in the world.
